YouHodler Welcomes Innovative Newcomers to the Canton of Vaud

Last week, Innovaud, an innovation and investment promotion agency in the Canton of Vaud held its annual “Members Meet Newcomers” conference. At the event, Innovaud members presented a welcoming ceremony to the newest companies under Innovaud’s wing. Representing the Swiss-based FinTech platform (YouHodler SA) was CEO Ilya Volkov

Volkov is an ambassador of Innovaud, an organization that has a long history of supporting innovation by startups, scale-ups, SMEs, and large tech companies. Innovaud also acts as the gateway for foreign companies wishing to establish a presence in the heart of Europe.

At the event, Volkov shared a presentation about his experience establishing YouHodler SA in the region to help newcomers navigate the waters of establishing business in Switzerland.

“Needless to say, the Swiss Canton of Vaud is a fantastic place for innovative businesses,” said Volkov. “For the three years YouHodler has been here, we’ve encountered several beneficial opportunities in Vaud and we know our Innovaud newcomers will too.”

YouHodler first began its Swiss journey in 2019. Starting as a humble FinTech startup backed by a talented team, YouHodler quickly progressed to one of the most trusted and recognized names in European FinTech. Volkov added that “YouHodler is still growing but we feel we owe it to the community to share our practical experience with newcomers to Vaud so they can join this innovative ecosystem here in Western Switzerland.”

Innovaud boasts a diverse range of members. FinTech platforms like YouHodler shared the stage with other names in exciting industries like Aerospace, BioTech, MedTech, EdTech, and more. Regarding this diversity, Volkov mentioned

“It’s nice to see blockchain technology growing out of its niche. No longer is it limited to blockchain-only events and communities. It now stands side by side with some of the biggest industries in the world and YouHodler is happy to be a part of that.”
