Product Designer

Hey there! This is the YouHodler team. Since 2018, we have been successfully developing the world's best web3 finance product: a place where classic money and crypto assets coexist. We are one of the leading companies in the Crypto Valley Association (Switzerland) and one of the best financial apps in Europe. We are planning to open a bunch of new products and directions in 2024, so we are strengthening our product and IT teams. Responsibilities

• Design interfaces for mobile and web that are visually appealing and solve problems in a simple and elegant way by creating wire-frames and designing end-to-end flows and prototypes.
• Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Stakeholders, and other team members in a cross-functional and distributed team environment to clearly define and understand customer and business problems.
• Take ownership of key product metrics and be accountable for driving successful outcomes.
• Independently make informed decisions regarding design and product direction, ensuring consistency in your approach.
• Actively participate in the iterative design process, implement solutions with the technical team, and present final designs during review sessions.
• Conduct user research to validate design decisions and understand the needs and behaviours of our users.
• Collaborate with Engineers and the Delivery Team to ensure designs are feasible and implemented accurately.
• Help establish and promote design guidelines, best practices, and standards.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in designing commercial apps in-house
• Proficiency with Figma
• Strong UX focus and understanding of human behaviour
• Strong portfolio demonstrating product design expertise
• Strong design skills across iOS, Android and web platforms
• Understanding of the technical implications of design decisions
• The ability to take ownership of design process
• Clean visual design sense
• Skills in typography and grids
• Ability to clearly articulate design decisions and to think at a high level about product strategy
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment
• Love to solve problems and be challenged

Nice to have

• Experience in designing fintech products
• Experience in designing and maintaining cross-platform design systems
