About the role

We are looking for a Financial Operations & Reconciliation Specialist to join our Swiss Finance team in Lausanne.

This role sits at the intersection of accounting, payment operations, treasury and digital assets. You will work closely with the Head of Group Finance & Accounting and collaborate with Finance, Treasury, Operations, external partners and auditors.

You will be responsible for ensuring that financial and payment transactions are processed accurately, properly reconciled and correctly reflected in our accounting records. You will work across fiat and crypto flows, intercompany transactions, payment providers, exchanges and other financial platforms.

This is a great opportunity for someone with a background in accounting, payment operations or financial operations who enjoys investigating transactions, understanding how money moves across systems, and improving financial processes.

Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor day-to-day payment and financial operations across fiat and crypto flows
• Process and reconcile transactions, settlements, and balances across banks, PSPs, exchanges, and other financial platforms
• Perform accounting entries and ensure financial transactions are accurately reflected in the ERP
• Own reconciliation processes and investigate discrepancies across multiple systems and legal entities
• Perform intercompany reconciliations and analyse Balance Sheet accounts
• Monitor crypto exchange, custodian, and wallet balances and transaction activity
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities
• Prepare financial reports and datasets using Excel, Metabase, and other tools
• Collaborate with Finance, Treasury, Operations, PSPs, and external auditors
• Contribute to improving payment, reconciliation, and accounting processes and controls

Requirements

• 2–5 years of experience in accounting, payment operations, financial operations or a related field
• Background in banking, fintech, payments or financial services
• Strong understanding of transaction flows, settlements and reconciliations
• Experience with Balance Sheet reconciliations and investigating discrepancies
• Experience with intercompany accounting or financial operations
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent Excel skills
• Experience with ERP accounting systems
• Fluent English, written and spoken

Nice to Have

• Experience with Swiss accounting principles (Swiss OR)
• Knowledge of Swiss GAAP FER
• Experience with crypto payments, digital assets or financial markets
• Experience working with crypto exchanges, custodians or wallets
• Knowledge of accounting principles and financial controls
• Experience with Metabase, Power BI, SQL or similar reporting tools
• Understanding of payment regulations or compliance processes
• French or German
