Full-Stack Engineer - AI-Assisted Development (Argentina)

Hey! YouHodler is looking for a Full-Stack Engineer who has already made AI coding agents a natural part of their development workflow.

You do more than ask AI to generate code. You know how to provide the right context, define clear tasks, review the result, and use agents across different stages of software development.
‍

You may already have your own instructions, conventions, or reusable workflows—or be actively developing them. Most importantly, you understand that AI accelerates engineering work but does not replace technical judgment or responsibility for the final result.

You will work across our backend, web, and mobile applications and own features from requirement to production.

Right now we’re launching a wave of new products and business directions, expanding our product team to support this growth, and building a new hub and business direction in Argentina. And we are strengthening our product and engineering teams and are looking for a Full-Stack Engineer who can deliver complete product features across different parts of our technology stack.

Responsibilities

• Use AI coding agents throughout the development process: discovery, planning, implementation, testing, review, documentation, and debugging
• Provide agents with clear requirements, relevant context, technical constraints, and acceptance criteria
• Review, understand, and verify AI-generated changes before they reach production
• Develop full-stack features across backend services, web applications, and mobile applications
• Build and maintain APIs, business logic, database models, integrations, and user interfaces
• Write maintainable code, automated tests, and technical documentation
• Build scalable and reusable components shared across web and mobile applications
• Work with real-time and high-throughput data while maintaining performance across different devices and platforms
• Investigate and resolve production issues across different parts of the stack
• Improve the codebase, development workflows, engineering practices, and the way the team works with AI
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, QA engineers, and other developers
• Take ownership of features from the initial requirement through deployment, monitoring, and further improvement

Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on software development experience
• Experience building and maintaining complex production applications
• Experience delivering complete customer-facing features across both frontend and backend
• AI-assisted development is already part of your normal engineering workflow, not something you are only beginning to explore
• Ability to review, understand, debug, and take responsibility for AI-generated code.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript
• Strong experience with React and preferably React Native
• Experience building responsive interfaces and reusable components for web or mobile applications
• Good understanding of frontend architecture, state management, application performance, and user experience
• Experience with Node.js and NestJS on the backend
• Experience with SQL, PostgreSQL, and TypeORM
• Experience designing and consuming REST APIs
• Experience working with message brokers such as Kafka or RabbitMQ
• Understanding of application architecture, performance, security, and maintainability across the full stack
• Ability to work across unfamiliar parts of a codebase and learn new technologies when required
• Attention to detail and a strong sense of responsibility for production quality
• Good written and spoken English and Spanish

Nice to Have

• Experience with automated testing, Git, Docker, and CI/CD
• Experience with gRPC, Grafana, and production observability
• Experience building web and mobile applications from a shared codebase
• Experience with responsive interfaces, cross-platform development, and application performance
• Experience with real-time or high-throughput data flows
• Experience in fintech, banking, trading, investment products, or crypto is preferred. Knowledge of or experience in the Argentine market will be considered a strong advantage
• Understanding of security and data integrity requirements in financial applications
